How did we noticed this changes – Bank Transfer Charge?
Just this morning when I wanted to make Bank transfer through my FirstBank Mobile App . Then to my surprise, I got debited of a sum of ten thousand and fity-two Naira (N10,052) instead of ten thousand, one hundred and five Naira (N10,105). Is Bank Changes For Transfer of N105 Legal or Ilegal?
Earlier this month, we were meant to understand that the Central Bank of Nigeria has ordered all commercial banks in the country Nigeria to reduce the amount of Mobile banking inter-banks transfer charge by half starting this month; April, 2017. That is to say from N105 to N52 and some commercial banks have already put that into consideration while some are still Stubborn about it and yet extorting their customers.
I initiated a bank transfer yesterday, then I realized that GTBank and Zenith still charged me the normal rate of N105, while I was charged just N52 for inter-bank transfer through First bank Mobile App.
Then I researched and I found out that it’s not right for your bank to charge you N105 their charges for bank transfer. This now prompted me to put-up this article.
